Our recruitment process
We are committed to taking an inclusive approach to recruitment. We use a system called applied, which helps us to remove bias from the selection process by anonymising applications and making hiring decisions based purely on skills and creating an even playing field for all job applicants.
We would like to thank you for your interest in the College and wish you luck with your application!
You will be asked to respond to questions which will allow you to express your match against the person specification. Your answer to each question will be viewed in isolation, and reviewed against the job specification. Please therefore ensure there is enough detail in your response and evidence in that single response, without any references to your other responses.
Whilst we are asking for your CV, please note that we will not be viewing your CV during the initial sift process. The selection panel will not have access to your CV, so it is therefore essential that you respond to each question fully.
If you are selected for interview, we will normally contact you via e-mail. You will receive full details of the selection process and the interview where you will have an opportunity to present yourself to our interview panel.
If you have a disability and need any adjustments to be made in order for you to take part in the selection process, please contact us immediately on receipt of your interview invitation.
In some instances it may be necessary to hold the selection process in two stages and you may be called back for a second interview. You will be given full details, if this applies to the selection process for the job for which you are applying.
Whether you are successful or not on this occasion, you will still receive feedback and scoring results.
